On July 22nd join Raymond Recreation for a beautiful cruise of Newburyport Harbor and lunch at the Chateau. Our first stop is an early lunch at the Chateau; where our buffet lunch will include: broiled haddock, chicken cutlet parmigiana, toasted ravioli, roasted potatoes, and garden salad. You can also enjoy coffee, tea and Italian bread & butter.

After lunch we’ll drive to the Newburyport waterfront and head right down to the boat dock. We’ll board the Yankee Clipper and experience the sights, sounds and feel of beautiful Newburyport Harbor, the Great Salt Marsh, and the Merrimack River. This 1.5 hour narrated cruise will weave together the area's maritime, economic and natural history, from the end of the last Ice Age 15,000 years ago to the most modern elements of life today, in one of America's most storied harbors. You'll learn what makes the salt marsh one of the most productive and biodiverse ecosystems on the planet.

Following our cruise, we’ll have a little time to visit the shops, just sit and soak up the amazing views of the boats coming and going in the harbor and maybe grab some candy or an ice cream before heading home.

The coach bus will leave Raymond at 9:55 am and return at approximately 5:17 pm. The cost for this trip, which includes coach bus transportation, cruise, lunch and all gratuities, is $90 for Raymond seniors (age 60 or over), $95 for non-residents. Space is very limited on this trip, sign up early so you do not miss out!

BUS REGULATIONS: Registrants must sit in the same seat(s) on the bus on the return trip as they sat in on the departure. For courtesy sake, you are only allowed to save your own seat and one other.

CANCELLATION POLICY: To receive a full refund, you must call to cancel at least 7 days before the trip; there is a 50% refund for cancellations after the 7 days but at least 48 hours before the trip. Cancellations on the day of the trip will not be refunded. Full refunds will be issued if we must cancel a trip.
