Raymond Recreation is going to Foster’s Downeast Clambake in York Harbor, Maine on Wednesday, June 11th. Foster’s clambake features prize-winning clam chowder, cultivated mussels, freshly-dug steamed clams, one 1 -1/8 lb Maine lobster (Alternate options: BBQ Chicken or Vegetarian Polenta), corn on the cob, roasted potatoes, rolls, hot drawn butter, and if you’re still hungry Maine blueberry crumb cake.

In the morning, we will make a quick photo stop at Nubble Lighthouse to work up an appetite. Then it’s off to Foster’s. Following our amazing lobster bake we will take a drive up to the coast to Old Orchard Beach. At Old Orchard Beach you can stroll along the pier and enjoy the ocean breeze. Find a bench to watch the waves or the people and soak up the vibrant atmosphere. Browse for treasures and trinkets in the many shops along the boardwalk. Up for something more check out the Palace Playland, the only beachfront amusement park in New England, offering a variety of rides and games. Or even take a short walk down to Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf.

The coach bus will leave Raymond at 9:58 am and return at 5:20 pm. The cost of this trip, which includes coach bus transportation, all gratuities and clambake is $80 for Raymond seniors (are age 60 or over), $85 for non-residents.

BUS REGULATIONS: Registrants must sit in the same seat(s) on the bus on the return trip as they sat in on the departure. For courtesy sake, you are only allowed to save your own seat and one other.

CANCELLATION POLICY: To receive a full refund, you must call to cancel at least 7 days before the trip; there is a 50% refund for cancellations after the 7 days but at least 48 hours before the trip. Cancellations on the day of the trip will not be refunded. Full refunds will be issued if we must cancel a trip.
